🕊️ Armistice Day – We Remember Together 🕊️
Today @R2Civitas we will come together to remember those who have served and sacrificed for our peace and freedom.
We will join in a moment of reflection.
“We will remember them.”

Reminder - #AntiBullyingWeek starts tomorrow with #OddSocksDay! Wear your brightest mismatched socks to celebrate kindness and individuality🥰. Uniforms still apply, and Year 2 should wear PE kits. Let’s knock the socks off bullying! 🧦

What a way to wrap things up with some super speedy zip wires and exciting escape rooms! We are so proud of all the amazing and ambitious children in our teams this year! The dream team becomes team resilience! 🏆
This morning, for our final activities, group 2 smashed the matrix - we were even told that we were the fastest group our instructor had seen! We then flew high on the zip wire, zooming across the field. What an amazing last morning!
Group 2 and 3 enjoyed the Matrix together - we couldn’t believe how amazing the escape rooms actually were! Group 3 pushed themselves to their limits on Jacob’s Ladder 🪜💪🏼
From crafting delicious pizzas and launching rockets in Science, to creating Autumn-inspired artwork and engaging in team-building games during a fun-filled PE day — it’s been a week packed with creativity, collaboration, and lots of smiles in Year 6!
Team one had a fantastic afternoon team building and solving lots of problems that were no problem at all. Then we finished the day with the amazing sensory trail where they all got soaking wet and very, very muddy! 🫢 Sorry mums and dads for the dirty laundry!
This morning group two tested their survival skills building shelters in the woods. They also climbed up the amazing vertical challenge, working with all different terrains. It was such a good workout!
There’s been a definite drop in temperature here 🥶but group 3 are still on fire! They sped to the top of the vertical challenge and scored really well in archery 🏹
Group two had a very messy afternoon on the sensory trail! We crawled, climbed and ducked - all with our eyes covered, the mud got everywhere! We then pushed ourselves on the amazing Jacob’s ladder, climbing so high and working in our teams.
Group 1 finished this afternoon in style when we played an unbelievable game of archery tag and then tackled, and climbed, the formidable Jacob’s ladder! A fantastic display of physical strength and mental resilience had today! We will sleep well tonight!
Archery tag got fiercely competitive between groups 1 and 3; the final result was 1 all. It’s hard to believe that the girls had a second go on the Giant Swing after making all that noise 🙉😂
Group one smashed this morning out of the park by taking on the giant swing! Then we took to the water and raced our dragon boats to victory! Team work makes the dream work!
