@kaseygrant @wandarous_ @kylegriffin1 Some women don’t lactate. Wet nurses have been a thing for thousands of years because some moms just can’t. Formula is the modern answer to that. When my wife couldn’t produce milk and our kid started to lose weight, we had to use formula. Didn’t have access to wet nurses.

@augieray At a certain point it’s inevitable, right? In DC I would always feel the same when watching the tourist kids playing grab-ass, throwing snacks, littering, complaining around the monuments (especially the Vietnam Memorial)…right next to the dudes weeping over their friends.

@rebeccahirsch B/c the founding fathers actively rejected the idea in the Constitution (see Federalist paper #53). Supreme Court rejected states doing it in ‘95. It would have to be a new law. And since Congressmen and Senators get rich in office, they won’t vote to end their own careers.
