هؤلاء شهداؤنا… وهذه خاتمة الأبطال

اليوم ودّعنا بطلًا شامخًا وأسدًا هصورًا، رجلًا عاش ثابتًا عزيزًا، ومضى إلى ربّه مرفوع الرأس؛ الشهيد أحمد البطش «أبو أسامة»، نحسبه شهيدًا ولا نزكّي على الله أحدًا.
اقتربت منه لألقي عليه نظرة الوداع، فرأيت سبّابته مرفوعةً تشهد بوحدانية الله؛ كأنها آخر كلماته في الدنيا، وأولى بشاراته في طريق الآخرة. فما ملكت نفسي إلا أن انكببت عليها أقبّلها، مودّعًا جسدًا طاهرًا أنهكته الجراح، ولم تنل منه الهزيمة.
لم يكن ذلك جسد رجل غادر الحياة فحسب، بل كان شاهدًا على سيرة عامرة بالإيمان والثبات والشجاعة. عاش أبو أسامة حميد السيرة، صادق العهد، ثابت الجنان، عزيز الموقف؛ وحين جاء موعد الرحيل، مضى كما عاش: شامخًا وفيًّا، لا ينحني إلا لله.
هؤلاء شهداؤنا يا مسلمين، وهؤلاء أبطالنا يا عرب؛ بذلوا أرواحهم وكتبوا بدمائهم معاني التضحية والوفاء. إنهم الأكرم منا جميعًا؛ تغادر أجسادهم الدنيا، لكنهم يبقون في القلوب مواقف لا تموت، وذكريات لا يواريها التراب.
رحم الله أبا أسامة رحمة واسعة، وتقبّله في الصالحين، ورفع مقامه في عليين، وجعل دمه نورًا له وشاهدًا على ثباته. اللهم آنس وحشته، وأكرم نزله، واجمعه بمن سبقه من الشهداء، واربط على قلوب أهله وأحبته ورفاقه.
عاش حميدًا، ومات شهيدًا… فطوبى للشهداء، وطوبى لروح كانت آخر إشاراتها في الدنيا شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله.

How Heroes Depart

Today, we bid farewell to a towering hero—a courageous lion who lived with dignity and steadfastness and departed to his Lord with his head held high: Ahmad Al-Batsh, “Abu Osama.” We regard him as a martyr, while only God knows the true standing of His servants.
I approached him for one final farewell and saw his index finger raised, bearing witness to the oneness of God—as though it carried his final words in this world and his first glad tidings on the journey to the Hereafter. I could do nothing but bend down and kiss it, bidding farewell to a pure body exhausted by wounds but never touched by defeat.
This was not merely the body of a man who had departed this life; it bore witness to a life filled with faith, courage, and steadfastness. Abu Osama lived honorably—true to his word, firm of heart, and dignified in his position. When the moment of departure came, he left as he had lived: upright, faithful, and bowing to none but God.
These are our martyrs, O Muslims. These are our heroes, O Arabs. They gave their lives and wrote with their blood the meaning of sacrifice and loyalty. They are more honorable than all of us. Their bodies leave this world, but their noble stands live forever in our hearts, and no earth can bury their memory.
May God envelop Abu Osama in His boundless mercy, accept him among the righteous, elevate his rank in the highest gardens of Paradise, and make his sacrifice a light and a testimony to his steadfastness. May God comfort him, honor his resting place, unite him with the martyrs who preceded him, and grant patience and strength to his family, loved ones, and companions.
He lived honorably and died a martyr. Blessed are the martyrs—and blessed is a soul whose final gesture in this world proclaimed: There is no god but Allah.
