I’m aware these can look weirdly cold and corporate. But my hope is to give empirical evidence to the fact that a lot of people want to #talkabout295c and that there are ways to frame and communicate that can take conversation forward
A week after #talkabout295C
Our objective was to 1) target the choir by giving them a language to critique the law 2) redirect general outrage at “misuse” towards letter of law and 3) open up the conversation and mainstream it slightly
From Engineer Mirza to Wajahat Ali PTI and Hamza Ali Abbasi to Dawn - I’m satisfied enough with the center and center to left reception online. We would have been happy with less than 50% negative/hate comments. I’m happy to report it at less than 10% - almost all of them generic one liners
I don’t ever remember such a strong unison of voices against 295C and I’m grateful to everyone who owned the risk and in doing that reduced the fear around an issue we have avoided for far too long
@19sindh Is this order still in force, even though the Order of 02 April 2020 says that it is in supersession of all previous orders, and does not state that the ban on layoffs will remain in place?
