@Literature_Lady @calliopes_muse I am an academic who has taught at a CC for about 24 years, and *most* of the time, I feel valued. Not all of the time, but most of the time. Key factors: 1) I have the privilege of tenure. 2) I’m in California.
@RachaelHerron Love the scenery and liked the first season a lot. Thought the second season jumped the shark a bit so didn’t go on, but then last week I started season three. I might lean in. TBD.
@mk_england I think I knew what 4H was when I grew up in Indiana, but I know them both much better now as a parent in CA. I’m in a small, coastal town, but both groups are pretty big here.
Dear alma mater: I would love to give you more money. I really would. But you won’t even give me remote library access. Please consider throwing that in with the alumni perks. I do not care about the special tent at baseball games.
