I’ve just watched the interview with Ann Widdecombe by Colm Flynn and it hit me completely differently now.

She spoke so simply and honestly about her own mortality no fear, just quiet acceptance. She said she’d be happy to die and go to heaven to be with her mum, her dad, her brother… and even her past cats. It was so pure and heartfelt.

Hearing her say those words, knowing how tragically she was taken from us, is incredibly moving and deeply poignant. She was such a simple, genuine woman at heart.

If you haven’t watched this interview yet, please do. It’s one of the most relatable and emotional things I’ve seen. You’ll be in tears.
