Unbelievable the stories that are coming out of Sudan by Sudanese journalists. If only international media were as interested in these stories as they were the geopolitical intrigue, we might be closer to a strong response. https://t.co/Hsk2Cyb9F7
The fact is that Africa's most powerful military bombed a bunch of poor, defenseless civilians trying to scratch an existence out of the earth. The cruel irony is that much of they gold they were laboring to mine was going to pass through Egyptian middlemen to the benefit of the Egyptian economy. This comes as Egypt claims to be defending Sudanese interests on the world stage and within the Quad and Quint, but that should not mean that Egypt can bomb Sudan and its citizens with impunity. Longterm Sudan has to get out from under the shadow (thumb?) of Cairo. Despicable stuff. https://t.co/MLXyEL13PZ
