It's a great EMOTION.
In just over a month, my next book will be released, perhaps my most intimate and heartfelt work. Here we are, the adventure is about to begin again, in italian bookstores from the end of March.

It was a special evening yesterday at the #Consulate General of #Italy in #Boston, discussing history and Italian-American relations at the time of the Declaration of Independence.
Such a necessary book to clarify actual historical questions concerning #longitude—a topic that has been misleadingly presented as an English question, when in fact it has a long history and considerable developments with navigation in Early Modern Portugal. #Histsci
I'm happy to share that today marks an important career transition: I'm taking up my post as #AssociateProfessor at @UniStraSiena.
I thank everyone who has helped, guided, and advised me, friends and mentors. I wouldn't be here without you.

Delighted with the publication of my Essay Review on the great question of #Longitude in the #ModernAge, published today on @NunciusJournal particularly my review of the seminal book by Henrique Laitão and José Maria Moreno Madrid! @ErcRutter
