Important update for our followers: we have been as uncomfortable as you over recent months, and as concerned as to the future of this corner of the Internet - as such you can now also find us elsewhere, in other bluer, skyier places. We should be easy enough to find π
It's true!
We're marching on Sat 27th Sept as part of Shrewsbury Pride 2025, and we'd be honoured to walk with as many of our fellow Town family, allies and Proud Salopians members as possible!

All at Proud Salopians are deeply saddened & frustrated by yesterday's UK Supreme Court ruling.
I'd like to reaffirm our commitment to ensuring our group will always be a safe & inclusive space for ALL.
To any trans and non-binary supporters: We are with you - now and always.
Well, it's that time of year once again! Merry Christmas to all our members, allies and supporters, wishing you all a most pleasant and peaceful Christmas - and here's to a positive and point-filled 2025! ππ§‘
Proud Salopians, mark the 29th Dec in your diaries!
A photographer on a year long photo project celebrating 10 years of Pride in Football has earmarked our game vs Northampton to visit and take some fan photos.
Pls DM us for more info if you're interested in taking part! ππ§‘
So if what RW said is true, today could be a big news day in the recent history of our club.
Do you think we'll hear about a new manager/head coach by the end of today, (rumours suggest Gareth Ainsworth is the favourite) or new ownership, or both?
Interested in your thoughts!
@shrewsburytown Thanks! Hopefully Pride is on an away game day (or no game day!) next year so we can bring some of you folks along too! Lots of fun and great to see so many involved, and also so many supporting from the pavements!
Fingers crossed for a good game and 3pts this afternoon! ππ§‘
@PrideOfIrons What terribly sad news. We only met once, briefly, but Trevor seemed a friendly chap, as devoted to West Ham as he was representation of LGBTQ+ folk across football. Sending our collective condolences - our thoughts are with his partner, family and friends at this sad time ππ
π - Saturday 28th September
π- Market Square, Shrewsbury

Will you be joining us, Salopians?
LGBTQIA+ or allies, please come as you are - we'd love to see you, and help bring a little π and 𧑠to #ShrewsburyPride π³οΈβπ π³οΈββ§οΈ

Just starting my work shift here, but good luck to @shrewsburytown on their return home for pre-season fixtures, and we hope all who attend enjoy the game this afternoon! #COYB ππ§‘
