@TunawithaCh I don’t think it’s about his ability anymore. They’re are other LBs in the world. Both have pinned their flags to this mast and are now desperate to not be proved wrong & show how clueless they are. Absolute parasites the pair of them.
@LiamHod95on Some of our fans are idiots. What have either of those lads done to deserve the negativity, other than not coming in the way Steur has? I hope people remind you of this when they’re smashing it for us soon.
@dan_jr1987 We’d need an obligation around the 45-50m mark otherwise we’ll book a loss on him. Hopefully a successful loan would put him in the shop window next summer, where we can try and get the best deal possible.
@Pooliemags1Ttv If Woltemade & Murphy go, we’d need 3 to come in. We’d need a RW, a proper No10 & a forward. EK is the 10, Pardo the forward. But we’d need someone like Hadji Moussa for that RW.
@RichBeck4@danjpeg We’re actively trying to sign a 10, so no. I wouldn’t have thought so. That being said, Jaissle is flexible so there may be games where he deploys that formation.
@MattW36565526 Actually, just crunched the numbers again. We would still have an accounting loss, but not as much as first thought. Ideally we avoid this if we can though.

@CH37083178@Toon_TaIk Yup. It’s all “what ifs”. “What if Woltemade is sold and Wissa stops playing” blah blah blah They are not letting Nick go unless they have replacements. We’re not in the Eddie Howe era anymore where players stay longer than they should. If Nick isn’t working, he’s replaced
@JoelJackson89@Pooliemags1Ttv As long as that deal was finalised in Aug 27, then that wouldn’t be a problem. Nick joined towards the end of August 25. The next tier of amortisation, taking the value down to 46m, only kicks in on that 2 year anniversary. Completing the obligation in June 27 causes us a loss.

@Footballera0 Both of these clubs had better be sure they’re going to meet UEFAs 70% SCR threshold otherwise there may be huge consequences. Like ourselves, both clubs are already sanctioned and on the radar. European Competition bans could be applied.
@Magpie8991 We’d need to sell Nick at around 58m just to break even. Ironically, shifting Murphy & Pope on would give us better headroom. Do that & loan Woltemade if Jaissle feels he can’t get anything from him. Offload his wages for a year & then see where we are next summer
@lamecknsubuga A big issue I see with this is that Stuggart wouldn’t be able to pay Nick’s wages. If we’re sending him out on loan, we don’t want to have any of his wages on the books still. I like the idea though.
@Pooliemags1Ttv We need 58m on NW to avoid an accounting loss, until Aug 27, when it then drops to 46m. I can’t see that happening. A loan is fine to take the wages off but have to avoid an obligation, unless the agreed fee is 58m.
@JoelJackson89@Pooliemags1Ttv Only if that obligation is high enough to help us avoid an accounting loss on SCR. Loans with obligations are completed in the June. If we sell then, we would need 58m as the 2nd yr of amortisation doesn’t apply until August 2027. In Aug 27, the amount needed would then be 46m
@NUFC_HQ@Santi_J_FM I think El Khannouss & Hadji Moussa would be the more sensible choices. Pardo looks great but at that price, I think we should look elsewhere.
