Nonton podcast Shireen Sungkar sm Dewi Sandra, seketika ambyar waktu Dewi Sandra bilang:
I think one of the most beautiful things in life is when you make genuine du'a to Allah swt and you can literally feel your heart finding ease. It's like the mountains of worries in your heart suddenly crumble and you feel Allah personally taking care of your worries.
If you look back, you'll see that every situation that Allah has brought you into has either changed you, helped you grow, made you stronger, taught you a lesson or made you a better person. Everything He does has a purpose.
The peace you feel when you expect nothing from people and any good you ever did is for Allah alone. The people you forgive for his sake and the sins (desires) you leave for him alone, wallahi nothing can compete this immense feelings .
You cannot control what people think of you, their opinions, their assumptions, and the way they choose to see you are matters Allāh did not place in your hands. Hearts are in His control, and people will always judge through their own limited understanding. So do not burden your soul with what was never meant for you to carry, for no amount of overthinking can change what has already been written in their hearts.
What is within your control is how you live: how you treat others, how truthful you are with yourself, and the character you uphold even when no one is watching but Allāh. These are the things you will be accountable for, not the ever-changing perceptions of people. And on the Day when nothing remains hidden, it will not be their opinions that matter, but your sincerity.
So focus on sincerity over appearance. Let your actions be for the sake of Allāh, not for praise or recognition. As the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “Whoever seeks the pleasure of Allāh by the displeasure of the people, Allāh will be pleased with him and will make the people pleased with him…” (Sunan Ibn Mājah 3986, hasan). Do not exhaust your heart trying to be seen correctly by everyone, for you will never be able to satisfy all eyes.
And as Allāh ﷻ reminds:
“So do not fear them, but fear Me, if you are indeed believers” (Qur’ān, Sūrah Āl-‘Imrān 3:175).
When the heart finally lets go of needing to be accepted by people, it finds a peace it never found before. A peace that does not rise with praise, and does not fall with rejection, just stillness, because it is finally resting where it was always meant to rest: with Allāh. And in that stillness, the heart learns that being unknown to people is not loss, but being known to Allāh is everything.
So speak less, remain grounded, and carry taqwā in all that you do. For true peace is found in being sincere before Allāh, no matter how the world chooses to see you.
May Allāh ﷻ purify our intentions, grant us sincerity, and make our hearts firm upon His remembrance. آمين
