Prayers don’t have to be tidy to be heard. Pray and just pour it all all to God. He’s safe. You can be messy and messed up and mad as you just get it all out.
Trust He is good. And He is working this out even when you can’t see it or understand it.
Yes, Lord. I want Your perspective to keep my emotions in check.
Yes, Lord. I want Your provision so things don’t seem so overwhelming.
Yes, Lord. I want Your courage to do what I feel You calling me to do.
Yes, Lord. I want and need more of You in every moment.
Where there is a lack of rest, there is an abundance of stress.
Praying we will all simply rest tonight. Resting in God’s presence. Resting in His promises. Resting in His love.
Rest, beautiful friend. Rest.
When a Jesus girl rises up and unexpectedly gives grace when she surely could have done otherwise? She reveals the power & mystery of Christ at work - in her life & in the world.
Let’s be rare.
Let’s give grace.
Let’s reflect the light and love of Christ.

I believe in life we need to see and truly be seen by the most important people in our lives. Deb, from day one, we had that. 22 years later ... it only gets deeper. You and the kids are the greatest gift I will ever receive. I love you a gazillion times around the world.
Lord, help us remember today not to let our lips or typing fingertips be the first thing that walks into a conflict.
“The heart of the righteous weighs its answers, but the mouth of the wicked gushes evil.” Proverbs 15:28 (NIV)
Worship lifts my thoughts to a place where worry can no longer reach me.
I don’t know what your favorite worship album is, but today is a great day to listen to it. To turn it up loud and remind your soul how near, how faithful, how amazing is our God.
Wait quietly— even if everyone around you is shouting. “I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.” Lam 3:24–26
Die to pride, die to self, die to agendas, die to comfort, die to ease - and your life explodes with abundant life. Unexpectedly, the secret to abundance is not about self - but about dying to self. We've got to lose ourselves to find ourselves. #TheWayOfAbundance
God already stands in our future and sees the very best route for our lives. We don't have to figure everything out. We just need to stay close to Him.
Lord, I don’t want to carry the worries of last week into the fresh start of this week. So, I offer them all to You. All of my attempts to figure things out. All of the anxiety of the unknown. I lay it all down - trusting that I have complete access to Your peace today. Amen.
Wherever we're seated today – whether it’s in a boardroom, a carpool line, or across the table from friends – we have been purposefully positioned by God. We have influence. Each & every one of us.
We don’t have to clamor for position. We can make the most of where we are.
Connecting our faith to whether or not God answers our prayers when and how we want is shaky ground.
We must attach our hope and our affection firmly to who God is... not to what we want Him to do. Only then will we have hearts that are settled and secure.
Sometimes changing the world means getting quiet enough for God to change me.
Lord, help me choose to make time with You a priority. Each and every day. I want Your Word and Your love to work wonders in my soul.
When the hurts and heartbreaks of this life cause you to feel like you've lost yourself, don't hesitate to reclaim who you are.
Say out loud, "I am a daughter of the King. I am an overcomer. And with His strength, I can be whole again."
