Salt Shed

Days like today when we crave a steak & chips. https://t.co/1BjcLY1Isb

[Salt Shed @salt_shed]

We just want to say a massive thank you to everyone in the NHS and everyone that has supported the project this far, we served over 800 meals to the front line and will make it up to those we could not not reach. Watch this space for more updates. Stay safe everyone!

[Salt Shed @salt_shed]

Boxpark is now closed and due to the new lockdown laws we are trying to work out a way to continue to serve the people. We are looking to pivot our project but please bare with us as operating at this time is extremely difficult to comply with all the regulations.

Mondays in hospitality are usually terrible but this is busiest Monday we have ever had;
Bellenden Primary School.
Marner Primary School.
Maudsley hospital.
Royal London ICU
St Thomas' ICU
Evelina London Children's hospital (St Thomas')
St Geroge's ICU

Thanks for all the support

[Tanj Sanghera @tanjidayo]

A big thank you from all of us at @teamaccu at the Royal London. @salt_shed went above and beyond by supplying lunch for the critical care unit.
It's small things like this that make a difference.

This is Dr Turpie, a friend and flat mate from university. He is an A&E doctor on the front line and one of the people we initially thought of when we started this cause! The NHS is filled with people like him, their good will and compassion is the only reason it has survived.

We are days away from shutting doors for the foreseeable future like 99.9% of the hospitality already have. But for what it’s worth see below.

We will stay open if we have a good response to this!

#ListOfSix

- No.1 and No.6 are done ✅
- On No.5, we’ll get something good today👍
- On No.2, it’s not clear but DO NOT pay your VAT/PAYE/NIC 👊
- On No.3 and No.4, we desperately need something very soon or we’re still fucked.🥺

COME ON Rishi. COME ON someone. #TooMuchToLose

[Jonathan Downey @DowneyJD]

Two down, four to go. 👊

Come on Rishi. You can do this. Yesterday was a very strong start but we desperately need something today or tomorrow for EMPLOYEES and a week from now, businesses won’t be able to pay their rents.
