T−12 HOURS
What is NOT in the game yet, published on our own site the day before
launch:
— NO QUARTER, the second mode
— Two more grounds
— Ranked wired to online
— Touch controls
— Weapon skins
A page that hides this is lying by omission.

Black powder changes how a shooter feels.
Slower rate of fire. Heavier recoil. Reloads that punish you for
starting one at the wrong moment.
You do not spray in SALTBOUND. You pick your moment, stop moving,
and make the shot count.
T−24 HOURS
Learn the ground while you wait.
MIRROR SHOALS: 80 × 60 m, mirrored down the middle. Two sites, A and B.
Enemies never show on the minimap unless something reveals them. A map
that leaks positions deletes the whole game.

Online runs on our server, not in your browser.
Your client predicts your movement; the server corrects it. 20 Hz
snapshots, ~4 KB/s. Lag compensation rewinds the world to what you
actually saw when you fired.
Combat is never computed client-side.
Five spirits. One skill, one ultimate each.
SIREN — a voice that is not there
SELKIE — slip the skin and go
RUSALKA — water that pulls at the ankles
CECAELIA — black water, eyes fail in it
FOMORIAN — a pulse through the hull
All five playable right now.
The one mechanic that decides every fight:
Your shots spread while you move. Tap the OPPOSITE direction just
before you fire and you stop in about a tenth of a second — braking
uses a stronger acceleration than running does.
Run. Tap back. Shoot. That is the whole genre.
SALTBOUND is a 5v5 tactical shooter that runs in a browser tab.
Not a trailer. Not a waitlist. Open the link and you are in a match
in about ten seconds.
Versus bots, or online against real crews.

Two crews of five drowned spirits. One powder keg.
Set it at the site and hold while the fuse burns — or douse it before
it blows.
Free, in your browser. No download, no account.
