So, shelters sometimes have no choice but to euthanize animals. This is why spaying/neutering is so important. There’s plenty of stats online, but here’s some:

Pet overpopulation leads to more animals on the streets who are sick, injured, abused, etc. Animal shelters are already overflowing & euthanizing millions pets as is. It’s a huge but preventable problem.
