Observed the rare Plain puffin (Appias indra narendra) #butterfly along the Rathnapura-Palabaddala trail that leads to Sri Pada. This butterfly is distributed in the wet, intermediate lowland and uva regions of #SriLanka .

Falling like dominoes. The dominant bull, of the Gathering, referred to as "Unicorn " was found dead due to gunshot injuries. We are witnessing the last generation of big tuskers been killed in front of our eyes. May you finally walk the plains of Minneriya in peace.
