On this day, 33 years ago, President Sheikh Sudais delivered his first Khatam Al Quran Dua in Masjid Al Haram (29 Ramadan 1412)
Today, it will be His Excellency’s 34th consecutive Khatm Al Quran Dua in the Holy Haram.
His first Dua was almost 45 minutes in duration, tonight it’s expected to be 30 minutes long
"I, along with the others, We try ourselves to know what the daily schedules are like in the month of Ramadan.
I start the time with suhoor, and suhoor also includes dates and some yogurts so that a person doesn't burden themselves.
Then, they perform Fajr in congregation in the Haram most of the time.
Also, recitation until sunrise which includes revision.
Then a person rests a little until mid-morning to also prepare for work.
Then, when Dhuhr comes, we get ready to descend to the Haram to follow up on work.
We have to ensure that all work is done in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements and that we achieve the aspirations of wise leadership.
Then, we prepare the Iftar with dates on the tablecloth as usual.
Also, for Iftaar and Maghrib prayer, we have a light snack as we said, some samosas, by the way, not fried in oil so that the oil does not affect the recitation, throat, and other matters.
Then, drinking, this is a preferred means in Ramadan, drinking soup, and don't forget to add olive oil to it for the vocal cords and vocal cords.
Then, we go down for relaxation, pray with the worshippers, and after Isha prayer, this is a time to go to our offices in receiving visitors and beneficiaries, and providing services to visitors.
Then, in the middle of the night, we go out to the family and have suhoor with them."
