🚨 BIG UPDATE FOR BANKERS (PROPOSED)

A proposal has been introduced in the Rajya Sabha for 45 DAYS PAID PARENTS CARE LEAVES for employees, aimed at supporting and caring for elderly parents.

If approved, this could be a major step towards improving work-life balance, especially for professionals working under high pressure like bankers.

→ Time to care for elderly parents
→ Paid leave support (proposed)
→ Better balance between work & family life

Still at proposal stage but if it becomes reality, it will be a much-needed humane reform in today’s working culture.

Work is important… but family always comes first.

UFBU has been pressing since 2015; IBA has already recommended it to the Government (MoU 07-12-2023), and the 12th Bipartite/9th Joint Note (08-03-2024) records the Saturday holiday clause, pending approvals/clearances.
Honour what’s on record. Approve all Saturdays off.
