Today is the day of historic surrender by associations before DFS / IBA In a Five star hotel in Mumbai .And a day they have accepted to surrender .Today is international women's day and in our culture women are a form of Shakti .
Today 9 th joint note is being signed one year earlier than the previous joint notes and without even notice of strike and this is being touted as a major achievement but at what cost . not a single major demand of charter of demand has been accepted by team DFS / IBA .

Total increase of 17 pc over march 22 pay slip is reasonable but much below our expectations in view of current record profitability of PSB .
2 in COD we demanded basic salary at par with RBI / LiC and central government.reality our new basic will be 40 pc less than RBI / LIC / central government .with pathetic 3 pc loading in existing basic .
DFS / IBA won
3 COD demanded merger of special allowance with basic reality around 1100 basis point increase in special allowance.
IBA / DFS won
4 COD demanded OPS for all reality no serious discussion on this issue .
DFS / IBA won .

5 days of work banking
MOU signed on 7/12/23 said union / association demanded implementation of 5 days work banking before signing of BPS / Joint note .
Reality they are signing it day without implementing 5 days of work banking.
And now we are on mercy of government of India regarding date when 5 days of work banking will be implemented .
6 defined working hours
Do discussion/ progress at all .
7 pension updation
COD demanded pension updation.
In reality we are getting ex gratia of paltry few thousands to 7.5 lakh pensioners around 20 pc of them retired prior to nov 2007 getting crums as pensions.
In my 39 years of my banking life this is the first time apex level associations have surrendered before DFS / IBA without even putting a semblance of fight .total surrender.
These spineless apex level association representatives have made bankers Life miserable with no relief in sight .
History will remember them as surrender shree

Two models of management in one Zone .
On Thursday I was in the gurugram circle and on Friday I was in ghaziabad circle and experienced and witnessed 2 different spectrum of management.on one side all branch heads of gurugram circle we met were very happy enjoying their work because they have got enough space and trust from their circle head to deliver best business for our bank .CH is young and possess great soft skills and believe in bare minimum review meetings and a circle with 110 plus branches doing well with around 75 to 80 marks range.
On other hand we have ghaziabad circle where most of the branch heads are very unhappy with their circle head and not enjoying their works still trying hard to deliver for our bank. .every alternate day review meeting of BH CM are held and that meeting goes on deep into night .
Yesterday too all CM branch heads were called for a review meeting with a roadmap around 16 came there to co around 5 pm before that CH left co and came back to co around 6.30 PM and finished meeting at 9.10 PM with 7 cm since he has sent back home other 9 cm BH who has not come to meeting with a roadmap.this type of Ch carry a fiefdom mentality and forgets that they too are servants of this bank and not owner of this bank.their infoated ego is doing immense damage to our bank and it's human resources.
Chief managers too are human being they too have a https://t.co/AaMvRbMtvo it a crime to be a chief manager.every DGM and GM was once a CM it is like saas bhi kabhi bahu thi .all cm BH are heading big branches with business figures ranging from 500 cr onwards . As a branch head in around 1000 branches they are managing around 8 lakh cr of our bank business.then they are heading PLP which is creating lakhs of cr of assets every year .then they are working in MCC CAC ARMB etc .but they all are having worst of having service conditions but this can not go on like this .
We have brought conditions of scale 4 BH CM of co Ghaziabad to ZM sir and will wait for a week for things to improve after that we will be forced to take organizational step .
Plp head ghaziabad seldom leave offline before 8.30 PM . yesterday 10 officers were working in plp up to 7.45 PM .MCC posted cm too leave office around 8 PM .
Our officers are reduced to a status of slaves in some circle of our bank .this will be resisted by federation very strongly.
Only a happy employees can keep our customers happy this is first maxim of banking.
Note .of late I have observed that ch with longer service left are much better to employees working in their circle than ch with shorter service left .

चीन का नाम लेने तक में जिनकी जुबान लड़खड़ाती है, वे दशहरे पर शस्त्र-प्रदर्शनी में नींबू-मिर्च काटकर पाकिस्तान को ठीक करने की बातें करते हैं। देश की रक्षा अंधविश्वास, दिखावे और खोखली बयानबाजी से नहीं, बल्कि मजबूत सैन्य रणनीति, आधुनिक हथियारों और दृढ़ राजनीतिक इच्छाशक्ति से होती है।

रक्षा मंत्री ने सेना के आधुनिकीकरण को जिस तरह कमजोर किया है, वह गंभीर चिंता का विषय है। देश की सुरक्षा कोई प्रयोगशाला नहीं, जहां राजनीतिक प्रचार के लिए फैसले लिए जाएं।
अब समय आ गया है कि रक्षा मंत्रालय की कमान योग्य, दूरदर्शी और आधुनिक सोच वाले युवा नेतृत्व को सौंपी जाय, जो चीन की चुनौती का सामना करने का साहस रखे और भारतीय सेना को तकनीक, संसाधनों तथा सामरिक क्षमता में मजबूत बनाये।
देश को शस्त्र-प्रदर्शनी में करतब दिखाने वाला नहीं, सीमाओं की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने वाला रक्षा मंत्री चाहिए।
