Scouting Report:
📋:Sam is a legitimate Scoring CG from all 3 levels, but an ELITE shooter from where ever he catches on the court. Elite Shot Mechanics, no hesitation, unlimited range

🏀Off Ball: Moves extremely well, always reads his screeners well and doesn’t stop moving. When coming off screens in catch-shoot scenarios he gets squared up, can shoot from wherever he catches on floor, great jab/cross creates space.

🏀On Ball: Can’t give Sam any space at all, Has an elite ability to get to his scoring spots with limited dribbles, doesn’t waste his handles, uses his jab/cross to get to his jumper going left/right, always stays on balance and at 6’5 gets his shot off over the best contests, can get downhill from either hand and finish at the rim through contact, but can also stop on a dime and get to his scoring spots in the mid range game. Great isolation downhill driver, uses his handle, long strides and unique gathers to play through contact at the rim along with his strength/body control. Doesn’t have the best handle that’s gonna break you down, but his ability to catch/shoot, elite use of his Jab Step will always keep the defense off balanced enough for him to get downhill.

✅📍: Besides being an Elite Shooter/Scorer, Sam does get his teammates involved while being on ball, very high IQ player who creates mismatches off his nonstop movement, and makes teams pay for it on the slow rotations. Again doesn’t waste dribbles, makes quick reads/decisions.

🔓📌: Sam’s an underrated prospect who can make some serious splashes if he continues to seriously Develop his game.
I personally love his abilities as a CnS/Scoring CG, would personally love to see him improve his handles, won’t be as many open shots at the next level, along with more athletic close outs/Defenders.
More strength of course, and just working working working on coming off screens/pins, will be an ELITE college 3P shooter.
