@RazzberryYams Honestly going the route of “yeah I know I should be vegan but meat tastes really good” is way better than trying to jump through hoops to manufacture fake reasons that eating meat is moral
I think the people who think offside is a dumb rule should play a 90 minute 11v11 match as a defender with no offsides, and report back with their findings
@ShlomoSolomons I’m really not trying to argue with you on intersex rights or broader LGBTQ+ rights or anything. The issue I have with your posts is literally just a misunderstanding in probability.
@ShlomoSolomons everyone should be open to having intersex friends, but as someone who doesn’t really make online friends (I’m much more of a lurker online than a talker usually), it’s not that hard to see that by pure chance I’ve never had the opportunity to be friends with an intersex person.
@ShlomoSolomons Following that logic, i don’t think it invalidates you as an ally towards LGBTQ+ people to not meet every “type” of person. I’ve met and made friends with many lesbian, gay, bi, trans, and other queer people, I’ve just never met an intersex person. It’s just probability.
@ShlomoSolomons If someone i was close to told me they were intersex, obviously I’d have no problem with that and would be glad they were comfortable enough with me to tell them. But people deserve privacy? I’m very big on personal privacy and don’t like to ask questions that might feel invasive
