When I first started writing and documenting my activism, I couldn't imagine that five thousand people would derive meaning from my work, let alone tens of thousands.
It’s really unfair that the hordes of people who responded “Release the hostages!” to every clip of a hospital being bombed or a child being blown to pieces will never be forced to reckon with the plain fact that Netanyahu could’ve brought them home the evening of October 7, 2023
BREAKING: A new report by the NRC-led West Bank Protection Consortium documents sexualised violence and gender-based abuse by Israeli settlers against Palestinians, part of a broader pattern of coercion driving displacement across the West Bank.
There is mutual aid, protective presence, local protests and political organizing. Everything is important and everyone needs to do what they're best suited for, but it needs to be something.
1000 people forced to abandon theirhomes and way of life with complete uncertainty ahead.
We talk about the increased awareness of the Palestinian struggle post smart-phones, but we need to *do* something with that awareness. If you're not involved yet, now is the time
The last family in Ras Ein al-Auja to remain until the end has left, setting their houses on fire so settlers wouldn't take them. The displacement of 1000 people happened right in front of our eyes.
Hey @MichaelRapaport, I emailed you multiple times to take you up on this offer. Since you've been looking for over 700 days, I'm sure you're eager you've found a taker, and not just scoring cheap rhetorical points that collapse under scrutiny
Put your money where your mouth is

Jonathan Pollack shares his experience in Sinjil the day a two Palestinians, one an American citizen, were killed by settlers in a pogrom. It was a privilege to be able to interview one of the most experienced and dedicated activists out there.
Staff at other hospitals have received similar texts before being attacked as part of #Israel's systemic targeting of hospitals. The officer uses an Arabic pseudonym; common in both Gaza and the West Bank. This is psychological warfare, and a terrifying sign of what may come
English text below: from an anonymous source in #gaza, staff of the Naser Medical Staff received this text an Israeli army officer, claiming that hostages are being treated at the hospital, located in Khan Younis. The text instructs people to come forward as informants.
2. This shows why language matters and the "official" term =/= neutral or objective. The govt calling it a "humanitarian city" doesn't make it one, just like the official name being IDF doesn't make it a defense force, and the name DPRK doesn't mean North Korea is a democracy.
Doesn't get much more indigenous than the residents of Masafer Yatta, who've been cave dwellers for centuries. In modern times, they've built their homes next to the caves. Now Israel is destroying their homes, caves and way of life, and uprooting them from their ancestral lands
Thoughts from my (relatively) recent talk at Bard College on the efficacy of protective presence, and what we can do in the US to fight for Palestinian liberation. The last bit has become just as relevant regarding American domestic affairs.

I said this all before the UK designated Palestine Action as a terrorist group, and I stand by it. Take up their mantle. Destroying weapons is not violence, it's the opposite.
