@gmb enough with these strikes! My daughters tutors ‘strike timetable’ from UCL. 3 years at Uni through Covid and yet more strikes, now she’s doing her master’s. She will leave education £55k in debt and has only received half the learning! Disgusting! Where’s the 50% refund!?

@GMB I’m a mortgage broker and had to talk to a client yesterday who is going to see his mortgage payment increase by £491 from January. This is an impossible amount of money to try and find each month! Something significant needs to happen in the next 4 weeks!

@trussliz a Stamp Duty holiday is not what is required at this time and is not helpful. Our industry is unable to cope as it is and driving up house prices again and encouraging people to buy when rates are at all time high is irresponsible please do not do this!

@GMB the can’t pay won’t pay people do need to understand their utility accounts appear on their credit reports and late/missed payments will be noted, which will affect their credit files for up to 6 years!

@GMB My friend is a police officer and the first thing these protesters do when they are released after detention is plug in their mobile phones and charge them in the waiting areas, then many call an Uber home!
