Congratulations, lads!
Imagine if someone had told you in September 2024 that two clubs who finished higher than us in our division would have been fighting over Jake Beesley and Ashley Fletcher.
@Official_NCFC Anyone after some cheap tickets? Me and a few mates were going in your end but can’t make it anymore. 4 tickets available. Would take anything back on them.
🔸 Seven seasons
🔸 238 appearances
🔸 One promotion
🔸 Countless memories
After seven seasons by the seaside, James Husband will leave Blackpool following the expiration of his contract next month.
Thank you for everything, Hubby. 🧡
@Blackpoolfc0702@mattywazza I understand the point that we’ve won more lately, but I think people are quick to forget we’d be playing in league 2 without him. 21 goals for a side as poor as us this season is impressive. If he’s happy to sign knowing he’s not a guaranteed starter I see no reason not to keep
3 years ago today we put 6 past QPR in the championship…
Today we couldn’t string 6 passes against Doncaster and look destined for League Two.
Club is rotten.
We won 2 in our last 14, losing 9 of them. That’s the third time we’ve conceded 4 in the space of a month. He’s not changing the system, so change him. The football is shit. And, it’s not all on him by the way, the players are truly pathetic.
@BlackpoolFC Tell you what, that’s one of the most I’ve enjoyed watching us this season. Disappointing not to hold out for the 3 points, but players playing with that bit between their teeth. Happy with that.
Ian Evatt has confirmed that Michael Obafemi has been ruled out for the remainder of the season following the injury sustained at the weekend.
Wishing you all the best with your recovery, Michael. 💪

Not to compare us to United, but the difference between them with a back 4, compared to with a 5 has been night and day. They didn’t have the players to play a 5, it didn’t work. We don’t have the players to play a 5, so why Evatt doesn’t try a 4 astounds me. Watch us win 4-0 now
@TangerineRob I just think the system doesn’t suit the players he’s got, and as a manager you have to take that accountability and adapt, not just say he needs players back. To play wingbacks you need two quality players, they are the most important players in a 5, and he’s got Ashworth and CJ
@_alexmason11 @SelkirkIan Haha I wouldn’t be so arsed if he didn’t go to blow and bottle it. If he just didn’t think it’s a pen it’s annoying but just a shite ref. Reality is we shouldn’t be so shite we rely on a League One ref to give us a pen to get anything out a game!
@_alexmason11 The ref put the whistle to his mouth and bottled it, exact same thing happened in the reverse fixture and ref blew for a penalty after the shot had happened. No consistency
