Uh Oh: Jaire Alexander speaks on the difference between playing for the Packers and the Ravens...
"It's simple. One is like being hired by your brother-in-law. The other is like working directly under the guy who invented Tesla."
😬😬😬
“Our kicker, our kicker”
Your kicker didn’t give up 25 points in the 4th quarter
Your kicker didn’t go 3 and out in 4 of the first 2nd half drives
Your kicker added to the loss… he wasn’t the reason for it
#Bears
Fine he’s average I agree. But to move on means you must replace. Idk how you can watch/look at the resume of anyone available and say “that’s the guy who can turn it around”. That hire just isn’t there this year. There is no Vrabel or Johnson available
@sam_fick But it’s not a knee jerk reaction, we have 6 years of evidence (4 without back to back MVP QB play) that shows exactly who he is - he’s an average Head Coach that crumbles in big moments and has not built a resilient culture.
His development of Jordan Love has been fucking amazing. So that’s a big one.
I agree he’s fucked up and I want him fired. But the idea that his replacement is a failed coach from Baltimore or Cleveland is fucking outrageous. Keeping him might be the lesser of 2 evils
I’m not confident any of them are better than Matt. The Browns have been a fucking disaster. Harbaugh has blown more leads than Matt and has had similar struggles to Matt in the playoffs. I’m not even entertaining Daboll
But to remove someone without a path forward is absurd. So I agree, I think he should be fired. But I don’t know who the replacement would be because the talent pool is currently small. So for that reason I’m nervous
I know what he did wrong. I totally get it. I’m actually more concerned with his ability to grow complacent with ST, offensive personal and clock management than I am his play calling. Even though his zone rushes from the gun are appalling. Im just asking, who’s better?
@sam_fick Among a very long list, we ran a screen pass to an offensive linemen. A screen pass to an offensive linemen, he fumbled the ball, we got lucky as hell and the ball bounced out of bounds. A screen pass to an offensive linemen,
This is absurd. You just gave up 2 firsts for Micah in order to go all in now.
Matt is a good coach. Unfortunately has to answers for these collapses and his loyalty to certain people and players has probably caught up to him.
Who’s available that’s better than him though?
My very very hot take is that, if Ed Policy has the balls to do it and fires LaFleur AND Gute, they should trade Love this offseason and tag Willis.
It’s a terrible QB class and you could get a haul for Love from some desperate team. You need to at least entertain it.
Can someone from Packers media get the success rate for 4th and short shot gun runs by @packers???
Once you get them, can you inform Matt how awful they are and ask him why he’s still doing it?
As a packer fan I can honestly say I never celebrated those wins over the Bears. I expected them. Because that’s what good franchises do, they expect to beat subpar quarterbacks.
Packer fans were right. Our win over a backup QB is pathetic.
We can only celebrate when we beat real quarterbacks like:
Jimmy Clausen
Josh McCown
Caleb Hanie
Brian Hoyer
Trevor Siemian
Matt Barkley
Mike Glennon
Chase Daniel
Brian Griese
Andy Dalton
Jim Miller
Mitchell Trubisky
Shane Matthews
Chris Chandler
Kordell Stewart
Rex Grossman
Justin Fields
Kyle Orton
Todd Collins
Jason Campbell
Chad Hutchinson
Jonathan Quinn
