Coach Carthel is officially the winningest coach in SFA Football history! 👏🪓
The Lumberjacks take down Northeastern State 63-14 to improve to 4-0 on the season 🔥

Amen! 🙏🏾 Both mentally and physically. It can be tough to build back from such a severe injury, but it's definitely possible and all of SFA, PV, Texas and the nation can't wait to see you bounce back. One day at a time. God can heal all things. @gerard_edimo
Let me also say this, and I’ll say it before the show:
I’m sure the Edimo injury will come up. If I see comments that are not to snuff, contain racism or inflammatory statements, you’ll be banned from the channel.
There’s no room for that in society.
@pv_vs_everybody There is no excuse for racist comments, but Coach Carthel has every right to defend a player who was clearly taunted. He did not incite anything by giving his opinion on a play. Hes a coach, and one that usually doesn’t come out like that. He’s defending his player.
I know we as SFA fans and alumni are upset about the injury, the taunting and optics after the play, and the situation
Don’t go after the kid directly on twitter. Don’t be that base.
Let the coaches, and conferences and NCAA sort out what may need to be sorted.
Use decorum
Gotta be honest, I don’t think pointing out that he twisted the kid’s leg, then pointed at him and mocked him by fake limping while grabbing his knee, is “attacking” him.
That’s exactly what happened and to act like it’s not isn’t great
The initial tackle was clean. The rolling backwards while holding his leg was unnecessary. The taunting the injury…?
Well that just doesn’t belong in our sport
