So proud and excited to finally share my senior capstone final project. Special thanks to @GoodmanHoops, @thekapman, and my former professor @LaurenceWHolmes for their contributions to this! Really happy with how it turned out!
Michael Jordan has released a statement on the passing of Stacey King.
A Bulls champion, legendary voice, and beloved figure in Chicago sports, Stacey’s impact went far beyond the game. Long live the King. ❤️🏀

Stacey was one of a kind because his passion was authentic and his ability to connect with so many was genuine. His knowledge of the game sometimes got overshadowed by his catch phrases. But man, he knew ball. He welcomed me to broadcast side and made me better RIP to an original
Devastated to hear the news about my dear friend Stacey. Everyone knows about his incredible talent, but it’s his warmth, compassion & amazing sense of humor that I will always remember & cherish. Rest easy my friend. 🙏 💔
Whether you were watching him broadcast a game or talking to him in an arena somewhere -- Stacey always left you with a smile on your face. That's a hell of a legacy to leave. RIP SK. I will miss you.
Because of Stacey, we as Bulls fans know “it’s a simple game.”
Because of Stacey, we always have hot sauce ready.
Because of Stacey, we like our meatballs spicy.
Because of Stacey - and the joy he brought - this goodbye hits so hard.
Drive home safely, Stacey. Beep Beep.
Stacey was a gem. His catch phrases—“Beep Beep! Drive home safely!; “Gimme The Hot Sauce!”— have become part of the Bulls lexicon for decades. His passion for basketball and ability to entertain over the mic made games worth watching even when the product on the court lagged.
While I’m being told that the Bears announcement on Hammond is “real”,
i.e. not a leverage play, a league source told me that the Bears leaving the state is not a done deal. Per source, Indiana is in the lead right now, but “Illinois can still get back in the race,” granted the state has a lot of ground to make up after not passing legislation that would have insured the Bears property tax certainty.
The momentum is real, our foundation is strong, and the best is yet to come.
What a past five years it has been!
Take a look back with @BlueDemonsAD at our first strategic plan.
Kruz McClure could follow a path similar to what Kam Jones did at Marquette.
The frame is thin, but the tools are obvious. He plays with great pace, can score from all three levels, and is 6’6.
I definitely see the vision with him.
Kahmare Holmes will be must-watch TV every night.
The offensive talent DePaul has with Holmes, Ade Popoola, Koree Cotton, Magoon Gwath, and Kruz McClure is impressive.
I think this is a tournament team and I wouldn’t be surprised if multiple guys get a cup of coffee in the NBA.
Can’t wait to see Layden Blocker lead the charge for DePaul this year.
I thought he was terrific last season, averaging 11.1 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game.
Chris Holtman added a lot of offensive talent around him. The assist numbers could take a big jump.
Fabian Flores is a sneaky long-term NBA name to monitor, as crazy as that sounds after playing 10 MPG as a freshman.
The appeal is obvious: 7’2 size, good hands, and real feel around the rim.
Now he needs to take a jump for DePaul this season.
No. 2️⃣
A number worn by generations of Blue Demons. Here are a few who helped build its legacy.
Who's the first player you think of when you see No. 2?
