I won't waffle here, I've waffled plenty on the page; so I will simply share and ask that if you feel aligned with sharing this post and link, please do so.

Lovely friends, family, and strangers whom this post reaches,
I have, reluctantly and with the not so gentle (but necessary) encouragement from trusted friends, created a GoFundMe page for support with funding a greatly needed medical procedure in late March. 1/2
My eldest son is participating in his 5th @MSReadathonAU. He set a huge target of 500 books to read this month and he’s nearly there: 444/500 w/ 2 days to go!!! Please if you can, donate to this amazing cause that makes a real difference in the lives of families living with MS.
@Roie This is fantastic thank you! I’m actually away for this weekend so it has forced me to just read the feedback and leave it sitting for the next few days minimum. Love time to digest, makes everything seem far less overwhelming.
Hello world! I have just received the peer review feedback and conditional acceptance, of my first ever paper submitted for publishing (in a conference paper).
Secondly, my academic friends - how do you do this!!!?! Less than 2 weeks to apply feedback from two reviewers and justify how/why not. Possibly a little (*lot*) of anxiety about how to do this!
@ShawnaMarks_ This has been something I’ve just learnt about, HECS not being a set amount being influenced by inflation. Not a great feeling I’ll say 😬
@emmawhatman Sorry to hear you’re feeling sick again. It’s a relentless and heavy feeling I’ve found over the past few months of illness. I don’t have any answers from my experience except give yourself permission to rest xo
@emmawhatman @FineAngeline Just finished and first impressions are “wow”, like a grief/unfinished feeling at the injustice. The power of storytelling! The different narrative techniques, the heart-wrenchingly beautiful psychological complexity of a YA novel…may need a while to process this one.
@emmawhatman @FineAngeline Another one for the to read list!! Thanks @emmawhatman. Currently reading Catcher Teller Crow at my post Covid brain fog pace
@emmawhatman @JessHealyWalton I was so excited to see this mentioned at the ACLAR conference! After reading the short story in the unit you taught Emma I am keen to get to the graphic novel! Must add to my to buy list now 😍
@emmawhatman Sorry to hear you’re unwell. Hopefully you start to improve soon. Between Covid and influenza it feels like time to hibernate until winter is over.
@emmawhatman Happy belated birthday Emma. I hope you found moments of joy within the experience of grief. And hopefully there was lots of delicious cake!
