Why hire an athlete?
Many people aren’t great at working with others. Athletes work as a team every day.
Rules and expectations are tough to follow for some. Athletes create team standards and hold themselves and their teammates accountable.
Many people struggle to present, perform, and produce in front of others. Athletes perform in front of hundreds every game.
Many people today don’t want to show up, work, and produce. Athletes not only understand the required work but they know they gain their advantage by doing extra work on their own.
Finding life balance and having healthy habits is difficult for many people. Athletes consistently achieve excellence on the court/field, in the classroom, in the community and in their relationships. Athletes eat with a purpose, value rest/sleep, and take care of themselves.
Many people struggle to respond to authority. Athletes embrace working with those who demand excellence and push them to their limits.
Many people struggle to show up on time for one thing each day. Athletes show up on time for many things every day.
Athletes aren’t built the same as others. They are independent but team-oriented. They are hard-working but balanced. They have killer-instinct but are loving. They value individual performance but within the concept of team success.
Hire athletes and watch your company take off! 🚀
“Nothing is really fun unless it’s hard. We’ve got to embrace that things are going to be hard. We’ve got to be excited when things are hard. Embrace the fact that it’s hard. Never hope that it’s easy.” ~ Mike Leach

Playing, watching, competing, coaching & being involved in a sport in any way is an absolute privilege. Each moment spent doing something we love is an unexpected gift. We never understand the value of it until it’s gone. Sports are no different. Don’t ever take it for granted!
So we’re just gonna pretend like Laurie’s gonna let 10k walk while Rue is sober the rest of the school year 🥴 not even a MENTION about it? #EuphoriaFinale
Coaches should never have to coach your effort. Whether it’s practice, games or weight room, discipline yourself to give your best without being coddled through it. Anything less & you’re just fooling yourself. There are no hidden secrets to improvement! It takes what it takes!
Players: Stop worrying about just scoring points. Worry about competing on both ends of the floor & playing some defense. Take some accountability. Think WE, not me. Stop trying to please everyone & instead, get your teammates involved. Share the ball. Play the game. Do your job!

If you’ve played for a coach that ran a disciplined program, held you accountable and pushed you out of your comfort zone to get the best out of you, you’re lucky. Coaches who hold you to a higher standard believe in you and know you’ve got untapped potential.
