Total thrill to sing @willtoddmusic’s wild, passionate, genuinely extraordinary Requiem for choir, soprano and electric guitar with @ElysianSingers. Susan Young and Tom Gray were magnificent and seeing a packed house rapt as we sang was a thrill. Next: Handel’s Israel in Egypt.

Lovely unscripted moment this morning in the Welsh Parliament as a brilliant young choir from Ysgol Treganna in Cardiff - singing Safwn yn y Bwlch in rehearsal - bump into the Prime Minister (watch their reaction at the end 🎶)

Thrilled by this first review for our latest @ElysianSingers album, Beauty for Ashes.
The music - 6 lush and lustrous pieces by women, 6 by men - was a joy to sing so it’s splendid to see it so warmly recognised.
Available on Spotify & Apple Music.

Hmm...I may get turned back at Heathrow for this, but it had to be said. Proud to join over 700 other composers in this infuriating protest.

It was inevitable. The song is a mess, like the situation the BBC has found itself in. But this one's dedicated to all the dudes showing solidarity with @GaryLineker on @BBCMOTD. ⚽️🎶

If Latvia (pop. < 2 million) can support a thriving full-time professional chamber choir of 24 singers, is it too much to ask that in Britain (pop. ±70 million) our national broadcaster should be able to support the 18 members of the BBC Singers? JR

How about some essential balance ? Just like Gary this bloke is sometimes employed by the BBC for his respected expertise . He too presents his views publicly . Just wondering if anyone in the government wants to retrospectively kick off about these tweets ? Nah, don’t suppose so

I have informed the BBC that I am very much available for tomorrow’s #MOTD
