Honored to have received the @NASSM Research Fellow Award tonight. I’m fortunate to have amazing co-authors and proud to represent @Trinity_U and the other liberal arts universities who demand excellence in both teaching & scholarship. #NASSM23#TigerPride
We don’t leave for London until December 26, but the @Trinity_U#SportInEngland V students meet for the first time as a class today. A great sense of community is already present with the group. I’m excited for the prep class this fall!
#TUsportsphil misses our fearless, world-traveling, leader @TingleJK as we welcome two TU alumni who both work for the US Olympic and Paralympic Committe! Thank you @TerrisTiller & @briannatammaro for spending time with our class today and teaching us about the USOPC.
Today in class I had the opportunity to hear from @willgoodloe. From the very start, I knew he was passionate about what he does. Something he said that stuck out to me was: "your windshield is bigger than your rearview mirror so remember to stay focused on what is ahead of you."
@Sebasti48279727 Really appreciate your honesty about feeling uncomfortable with this exercise, but I can promise it will get easier! Keep putting yourself out there. Great job! @Sebasti48279727
Just because you are the youngest member of your team or group doesn't mean you can't be a leader. Leadership is for everyone no matter your age. Thank you @OaxacaAriana for this important reminder!
@ThomasWyattGre1 gave an amazing presentation on the importance of showing up. Even though it can be hard, getting to class is the first step to success. Showing up for things you have committed to not only helps you, but it shows others you can be counted on. #TUSportsphil
Huge thank you to @meghanannrose for joining our #TUSportsphil class today and speaking on ways to be authentic and sincere when it comes to CSR. 3 questions to ask yourself as an organization are: who are you targeting, who is involved, and how does it align with your values?
Happy Tuesday! So glad to be back in person for today’s #TUSportsPhil class. Today’s lecture is about understanding what Philanthropy really means, specifically in the sports world.
