@Wxmanms1 @VinceWaelti For a weather layperson can you offer some explanation for what makes the sounding ludicrous? Is it just the time of year for that sounding result? And does that indicate any increased tornado threat above the current 5% chance for MS?
@smartereveryday I just watched your most recent PRD video on fragmentation. I came across this recently published article that studies the same topic and the authors may be interested in data collaboration. https://t.co/WtkvjwEfeI
If I'm honest, the level of hurt I feel about Chick-Fil-A's recent decision is commensurate with the level of hope I placed in them to begin with.
My hope should be in Jesus. It's His Church that represents a beacon to culture, not a fast-food restaurant.
End your week with this tear jerker courtesy of a Samford football player informing his long time stepfather that he is changing his last name to honor him
How do Christians glorify God in our jobs?
1. Be thankful for your job.
2. Recognize your work is to the Lord.
3. Strive to maintain a good reputation.
4. Show genuine care for your co-workers.
5. Do not be evangelistically obnoxious.
6. Work excellently for God's glory.
This is a terrifying must-read article:

Just to piggyback off of Matt here, this is why theological education matters. It is not a cure all or end all to the problem. Dead orthodoxy happens. But emotionalism and a camp high every Sunday isn't going to give you the ballast you need to persevere either.
J.C. Ryle’s 5 dangers for men:
1. Pride
“Don’t trust your own opinion.”
2. Love of Pleasure
“Whose servant are you?”
3. Thoughtlessness
“Don’t stop thinking.”
4. Contempt of Religion
“Never be ashamed.”
5. Fear of Man’s Opinion
“Think for yourselves.”

Thread. The Founders trailer imbroglio—I’ve never had the opportunity to use that word before—illustrates what happens when the culture war trumps gospel truth.
