So after 14 years of working in inpatients, I have left the wards today to start a new challenge within the NHS. I am both nervous and excited and doing my best to ignore the onset of Imposter Syndrome. Thank you to @IOWNHS@NHSLeadership @IoWNHSEducation @tatey75
Home now from an amazing evening at the #HSJpatientsafety awards in Manchester. Very proud to represent the @IOWNHS in such a great event with so many talented people. Thankyou @marcia_meaning and all those involved.
This is not a time for words, itโs a time for action.
But the Conservatives have failed the NHS for 12 years. Theyโve broken pledge after pledge.
And their latest round of disingenuous promises wonโt help all those people who are dying in corridors as you read this tweet.

Weโre building a superteam of NHS supporters to help boost staff morale, and your backing will really help.
NHS nurses hold the hands, tend the wounds, save the lives, wash the dead. They comfort us, console us, diagnose us, save us. They toil & smile & endlessly care.
Not a single NHS nurse wants to strike tomorrow. Theyโre desperate.
Please show NHS nurses some love. Please RT ๐
@IoWNHSEducation @leadersincare @tatey75 The programme is excellent with some great points to take forward. Good luck with turning the Education Centre into an Abbey. ๐
@tatey75 @leadersincare @IoWNHSEducation Will do, and yes a brilliant course that provides excellent insight into what is needed to provide effective leadership. Many things to take forward!
