The Aubs were having Hayes watch parties when Saban left. Bama was burning. Hugh had only lost the Iron Bowl on a miracle with the weakest team he’d have on the plains. Cam Coleman had just flipped to AU from TAMU.

Fast forward a short 2 years. Hugh fired mid season. Coleman and half the team are in the portal. And Bama is in the Rose Bowl again, while a Music City Bowl loss would be Hugh’s only post season action.
