Murray Hall was a politician born in Glasgow. He moved to New York in the 1870s and became a Politician. Upon his death, Murray was found to have been assigned female at birth. He had lived for 25 years as a man, but was tragically buried in women’s clothing in 1901. #Pride2021

Today is Transgender Day of Visibility. Today's about celebrating Transgender people who have done amazing things, such as creating films, books and TV shows with Transgender characters as well as challenging laws and workplaces to be more inclusive for Transgender People #TDOV

To celebrate LGBT History Month, we are looking at laws which changed the lives of LGBT People in Scotland and some Scottish LGBT Icons. The law we will start with is the criminalisation of homosexuality, which was punishable by death until 1889.  #LGBTHistoryMonth

It was great getting back to face to face indoor work with young people this week and we look forward to continue to do this as long as it remains safe to do so, also a massive thank you to all young people who attended and followed all our new guidance really well

Since the start of the lock-down we have delivered over 80 hours face to face online support to young people and also supported others through phone supports. We have also supplied equipment to 15 children and young people to allow them to get online and also access school work
