What a shot…

Daniel Biber spent years observing huge gatherings of starlings on the Costa Brava, before he was able to capture the exact moment their murmuration formed the ethereal shape of one giant bird.

No trickery. Just nature on the wing doing it’s most wonderful thing.

@KirstyMartuccio Yeh, probably right, I believe noctule flight is more direct and they are bigger. Fencepost is fairly small tbh.

This is what #naturerecovery looks like on mountainside in upland #Wales to right of fence. I stopped there - it was alive with warblers singing.Left of fence still sheep grazed. Will new Wales Sustainable Farming Scheme encourage farmers to create habitat for nature like this?
