@grtdane Then, when paired as a braille keyboard and a qwerty keyboard, press the mode key under the pairing key to enable hybrid mode. You will also want to make sure that apple has been selected as your keyboard in the options menu, space with o from main menu, instead of microsoft.

@grtdane You'll need to do a couple of things. Make sure you have also paired it as a bluetooth keyboard by pressing the pairing key and a function key between f7 and f12.

I strongly disagree! A PC doesn't mark the end of an era for an Android tablet or an iPhone any more than the Optima marks the end of an era for a device like the BrailleSense. I would love an Optima, but I'll use my BS6 just as often, just for different tasks.

I really can't understand why companies like this feel they need to take the attitude of knocking other devices. A Braille PC is one of the holy Braille products we all want. It will sell on its own merit in a category all its own.

@LiamErven There are registry tweaks that claim to solve this, but they don't appear to uninstall the offending notepad, and it continues to open when clicking a txt file. 3/2 lol

@LiamErven you may be asked to open notepad when next pressing enter on a txt file, but this will be classic notepad, as this is the only one you'll have. 2/2

@LiamErven This is due to the Store version of Notepad replacing the Classic notepad we all know and love. My work-around was to uninstall said notepad. settings, apps, installed apps, Find Notepad in the long list of apps, tab to and press the overflow button, and press uninstall.1/2

@grtdane Not sure if this question was rhetorical, but although I'm not familiar with this particular device, I expect you may be able to, as devices such as headphones and microphones are supported, along with USB drives.
