This wasn’t a prediction, it was an assessment.

Many people don’t know this, but Prashant Kishor went village to village across Bihar (padyatra) walking over 5,000 km without a single day off for 3 years, through dhoop, barish, and toofaan.

Despite all this, he lost the Bihar election badly.

You are in a winning position. If you succeed in building this narrative, you could become the preferred choice of nearly 70% of the population. Around 70% of the state's people are dissatisfied with the existing political parties, and the RJD is not an option for them.

In Bankipur AC, people from every class and caste voted for Prashant Kishor. The BJP was reduced to being supported primarily by the KKP. Even within this KKP base, turnout from one of its core castes was relatively low.

Fun Fact: BJP lost the Gorakhpur bypoll (Yogi Adityanath's MP seat) in 2018, and then won it back in 2019, and retained it in 2024. Stop making long-term predictions based on what plays out in Bankipur. Also, if JSP gains, RJD loses first.

@ashpande18 True, a lot of critical engineering & technical decisions for several hi tech global companies, like Intel, AMD, GE, Siemens, several automobile majors etc are taken in India technology & delivery centres of these companies, since almost more than couple of decades.

I work at AMD. The notion that India doesn’t have the engineering talent to manufacture cutting edge chips is laughable. We have tens of thousands of engineers working on all parts of the silicon pipeline, all the way from pre and post silicon to software.

The only thing we lack is manufacturing capability. A lot of the leading chips you see in the market have atleast some IP designed completely in India.

We are not behind due to a lack of talent. Only a lack of opportunity.
