🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting across North Carolina after video doorbell footage emerged of a White police officer repeatedly punching a Black woman with his fist while she is on the ground.

The footage appears to a police officer throwing a woman to the ground and punching her repeatedly while sitting on top of her.

A Black officer appears to rush in and stop the White officer from punching her.

The Shelby NC Police Chief has now suspended the officer and opened an investigation.

Protestors are calling for the police officer to be fired and go to prison for assault.

The woman in the video, 34‑year‑old Cherrie Moore, was charged with burglary, resisting arrest and assault on an officer.

Her bond was reduced to $0.
