@nainparii Cinema views and insta reel views both are same these days.. reels would be more if they go viral imo.. so societal responsibility should be applied to both.. you cannot say i will ignore one but will call out other.. anyways.. call out those who milk male gaze on SM too
@nainparii You just said even if its with consent .. these shots are not ok for me.. so if she posts these shots on SM.. the reaction should be same too
@nainparii Exactly but you kept defending the insta reels saying its ok for them to post what’ve they want over there.. just wanted to prove that its not ok
@nainparii Exactly so thats what i was asking.. so you are saying as long as jhanvi consents all these shots are ok for you right.. as its her choice to do that
@nainparii How can you be sure its not with the consent.that the actor didnt know these shots are being taken.. and that was my point so you are ok with those zooming in on navel shots if someone posted them on thier insta or someone outright came and said i consent to that like in animal?
@nainparii even in this scenario the bikini shot is for the male gaze imo.. but we are going off the track here.. we were mainly discussing male gaze in insta vs movies why its ok to posts such reels where you are mainly catering to male gaze but not ok when the same is done in movies
@nainparii Okay so? Even in insta, those reels are for male gaze too.. so you saying male gaze doesnt matter as long as the women themselves do it? But movie cant be acted and directed by same ppl. and if they are ok with catering to male gaze does it matter if its the directors gaze or nf
@nainparii But its a completely different point though.mvoie was criticised for those scenes (should it be criticised for it is a different debate) and only when the actress was also criticised for doing those scenes did the actress indirectly somehow convey she didnt agree with those shot
@irontony65 Do you think we have different standards when women are objectified in SM and on movies.. because i saw many women defend SM part where they post such reels but rarely see women defending such scenes in movies
@subhs54@bae_stvrrie the main tweet was about a person’s gf not blocking someone who abused her years ago.. it got twisted to you living with that person and still getting abused
@starsolsun she was trying to explain that decision with the worst possible case.. if you had read the og comments under the tweet, there were many who said they didnt block even though this was not the case
