Delhi: President of the Cooperative Ground Durga Puja Samity in Chittaranjan Park, Sumit Majumdar, says, "This year is a special year for us as we are celebrating our Golden Jubilee. The preparations for this year’s event started almost two months ago...This year’s theme is 'Sonar Killa' (Golden Fort), Jaisalmer’s Golden Court in Rajasthan, and the entire pandal is being designed accordingly..."
My wishlist from the new government:
1. Clean air for a healthier future
2. Safe and accessible clean water for all
3. A garbage-free, well-maintained environment
4. Smooth, pothole-free roads
5. A rejuvenated and pollution-free Yamuna
6. Affordable and quality healthcare with robust insurance coverage
7. Zero tolerance for crimes against women, ensuring safety and justice
8. Reduced crime rates for a secure society
9. Efficient traffic management for hassle-free commuting

"@cromaretail your service is disappointing. We reported an issue with our washing machine 8-9 days ago. An engineer showed up after 2-3 days, took the motherboard on August 19th, came back on the 22nd, but couldn't fix it. Now, he's not responding to calls. Is this the level of service @TataCompanies offer to customers?"
@Probasibangali@IndiaToday@sardesairajdeep@sagarikaghose It’s a clear case of conflict of interest. And we all know his views, his lineage, his thoughts & his agenda …. Sadly we all know the facts but this will continue …
Just curious—shouldn't @IndiaToday consider restraining @sardesairajdeep from covering TMC-related stories, given that his wife @sagarikaghose is a TMC MP?
Not questioning his integrity, but isn't it a clear conflict of interest? A reputed media house should ideally take this stance. I may be completely wrong. Any Thoughts?
@Probasibangali I agree completely. But, dada be cautious I have heard that Kolkata Police is sending legal threats & also making house call. Even questioning.
Is the City of Joy still living up to its name in the wake of such a heinous crime? The Kolkata I once knew feels like it has changed.
I firmly believe that education alone isn't enough to shape a better person—upbringing plays the most vital role. As parents, it is our duty to instill respect and values in our children, especially the importance of respecting women.
At home, I make it a priority to fulfill my responsibility. The concern for women's safety in our country weighs heavily on all of us.
My heart aches for the parents of the victim in Kolkata. The pain of losing a child is beyond comprehension, and the circumstances surrounding their loss make it all the more devastating.
It is truly disheartening to witness the insensitivity of some towards this tragedy. However, I believe in the power of Karma—justice will be served, if not in this life, then in the next. I pray for the soul of the young victim and deeply regret that we, as a society, have failed to provide her with a safe environment.
My thoughts are with her grieving parents, and I hope they find the justice they deserve.
