Pattern Blocks and Hinged Mirrors by @mburnsmath Such an amazing exploration with angles. Grade 4 was so excited to see how the pattern block angles come together to make 360 degrees. They also started to make connections with tessellations and symmetry. @samaugustgray#pypmath
We have all year to get to genre studies (which I love.) There's not need to rush to a genre study at the beginning of the year. There is plenty of important learning about craft and process that is not specific to a genre while maximizing engagement.
