Fear of failure doesn't exist if you're outcome independent. Whenever you set foot on a journey, the thing you're pursuing isn't responsible for that fear. It's your intention for pursuing it.
Say you have a desire to start a business. You're excited at first, but inevitably run into some challenges. Some people are able to effortlessly continue forward. You, on the other hand, freak out. Instead of picking yourself back up, you start to overthink.
"Am I going to make it?" You hyperfixate on this question, taking precious time away from actually doing, in an attempt to find a way to quiet your mind.
You search and search. You start looking up success rates of new ventures. Stories of how long it took others to get there. Podcast after podcast, desperately seeking anything that could give you more certainty that you'll be fine.
You've focused so much on ensuring you'll see your ideal result, but you've never truly asked yourself why you even care.
Isn't the whole point of playing the game to enjoy the game itself? Why does it even matter whether you make this much, on this timeframe, or not? Do you genuinely value the process of learning, improving, and experiencing, or do you feel like you need certain events to happen in order to assuage your insecurities?
Think about playing an actual video game or a sport with your friends. You're fully immersed. You do it literally because it's fun. Lose? It doesn't matter. Run it back. Win? It's a reward for sticking with it. Run it back again. Hours and hours. Day after day. It feels so natural.
You play because you simply want to play. Nothing more, nothing less. Why fear, why worry, why stress, when this is the foundational reason for playing?
Who cares about what happens? Life is perpetually beautiful regardless. You're blessed enough to have the opportunity to choose how you live it. Be present, and make the most out of it. Tangible outcomes don't determine your worth. You have the sole power to determine how you feel about yourself.
Change your perspective. When you place too much emphasis on what'll happen, you associate the game with danger. With danger, comes fear. With fear, you can't perform and sabotage yourself.
However, when you don't care about what'll happen, you'll be pleased to discover that what you want to happen, will actually end up happening. Release your grasp on the how. The magic is always created by the why.
Fast, lift, sprint, stretch, and meditate.
Build, sell, write, create, invest, and own.
Read, reflect, love, seek truth, and ignore society.
Make these habits. Say no to everything else.
Avoid debt, jail, addiction, disgrace, shortcuts, and media.
Relax.Victory is assured.

Argentina is world champion after a penalty shootout master class. At the core of their performance is goalkeeper Emi Martinez' mind games.
Martinez dominated the French penalty takers, forcing two misses.
Here’s a step-by-step description of his tricks in the final. Thread. 1/
1/ On Is Money Just A Game?
tl;dr
For most people, it is a huge struggle, but the people who make the most money tend to think of it as a game.
Can we thread the needle and figure out why both people are right?
We will try! Off we go.
Dave Ramsey was asked what it takes to build a business. “Perseverance through an amazing amount of manure. Perseverance through pain that breaks your heart”
Many think I just show up and win. They don’t see the countless sleepless nights in pain. There’s no free lunch in poker.
I remember the good old days when everyone used their brains to play poker. Nobody had it so right but it was your brain vs my brain and so on. The day I learnt PioSolver existed I was devastated and a little bit of my love for our beautiful game died forever.
1. Try a bunch of new stuff, fail at most of it
2. Find something that works
3. Then double down on what works, quit doing everything else
4. Grow exponentially
5. When growth slows down, go back to Step 1
This can practically be applied to all areas of life.
Giannis Antetokounmpo with one of the truly dominant Finals performances in history — including 50 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks in a clinching Game 6 — to deliver Milwaukee over Phoenix. For the first time in 50 years, the Bucks are NBA champions.
The Bucks overpaid to make sure they could get Jrue Holiday, the best defensive PG in the league, to make sure Giannis would be there long term.
On the biggest play the franchise has had in 50 years, Jrue ripped Booker & trusted Giannis.
What an iconic moment.
Just a nice, little 30-9 run to end the half for Milwaukee to flip this game and potentially this series.
Phoenix is never going to have an answer for Giannis, and if the other Bucks just do their jobs defensively Milwaukee absolutely will win the title.
Five years ago today, LeBron, Kyrie and the Cavs made history vs. the Warriors 🔥
Only team to come back from a 3-1 lead in the Finals https://t.co/SpNaiZDFBg
