Today marks 189 days since our leader, @elrufai, has been in detention.
Mallam @elrufai represents courageous leadership and a commitment to public service. We believe he has worked to serve Nigerians regardless of religion or ethnicity.
Free a good leader.
#FreeElRufai
Earlier today, I had the honour of privilege of attending (in my own right and representing my dear father, Mallam Nasir @elrufai), at the 1st year remembrance of our leader and father, the late President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, at the Nigerian Army Conference Centre in Asokoro. From Allah SWT we came and to him we shall all return. A reminder to all of us about the fickle nature of life and transient nature of power.
As I have stated many times, we will continue to pray for President Buhari’s eternal soul. May Allah SWT forgive his sins as a man whose personal integrity, spartan lifestyle and simplicity remains a model to many of us that are young politicians and public servants. I would like to commend the Central Planning Committee for organising an excellent event. Eternal gratitude to the Buhari Family for extending the invitation to my humble self.
We will continue to speak and promote the good work of our leader. On behalf of the excellent people of Kaduna North that I humbly represent, we grieve once again over such a monumental loss. After Daura, Katsina, Kaduna North, Kaduna State was his second him. A special mention to my elder brother, our only Dujima, Mallam Musa Yola, DG, Gambo, my friend, Ayo Akanji. Allah ya jikan Mai Gaskiya!
Signed

🚨 ABSOLUTELY SCANDALAS 🚨
Egypt didn't just play against Argentina today; they played against the referee and FIFA. A masterclass in how to ruin a tournament. Disgraceful
Progress continues on the Tunga–Mobil Road as the project enters its final stage of execution.
With the asphalt already laid, crews are now completing the remaining finishing works ahead of commissioning.
In 1985, as Nigeria's Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari reportedly seized some consignments belonging to MKO Abiola.
Following the military coup of August 27, 1985, which brought Ibrahim Babangida to power, Buhari was detained for nearly three years. During that difficult period, he suffered painful personal losses, including the deaths of his mother and former wife.
Yet despite the political differences and complex history between them, Buhari chose the path of reconciliation. On June 12, he honored the memory of Chief MKO Abiola, acknowledged his democratic mandate, and extended respect to Abiola's family.
For many of his supporters, this willingness to forgive, reconcile, and place national interest above personal grievances is why he earned the nickname "Mai Gaskiya" — the Truthful One.
Rest well, President Muhammadu Buhari. Your legacy, service, and sacrifices for Nigeria will continue to be remembered.
Our prayers remain with you, Baba.
On this blessed Friday, may Allah's mercy and forgiveness envelop president Muhammadu Buhari in his grave. May his resting place be filled with light and tranquility, and may He grant him the highest place in Jannah. Ameen.
On the day that marks the first anniversary of the death of the late Muhammadu Buhari, a prayer meeting will be held in Abuja. Read the full report in the comments section.
