I’ve not been late to an exam
That’s because my parents know to drive, we had a car, and they drove me to every exam
NEET videos are heartbreaking because they don’t account for kids traveling by public transport (maybe multiple buses or trains) that are always delayed in India
our public transport falls apart at a moment's notice. The consequence is already there: reduced test taking time. Punishing young kids while those systematically disenfranchising the country's education go scot-free should enrage us!
This is similar to their money-making Arena Titles experiment. I still don't understand why FIDE is getting involved in online chess. FIDE was founded to govern over-the-board chess. Why not focus exclusively on improving that?
Online chess is a different environment with different conditions, and it seems reasonable to let online platforms develop their own rating systems and titles. The idea that FIDE should regulate everything that falls under the umbrella of chess feels unnecessary to me.
Do other sports federations do this? For example, do governing bodies of traditional sports issue official ratings or rankings based on online play, or are those typically treated as separate activities?
I understand that chess is somewhat unique because the same game can be played both online and over the board. Still, I think FIDE should stop expanding its authority into different areas and focus on what it was originally created to do: governing over-the-board chess.
If online chess needs a governing body, why not create a separate e-chess organization instead?
One of our greatest ever, signing off.

Meet Vedant Shrivastava, Nisarga Adhikary, and Sarthak Sidhant ,they exposed CBSE in every possible way :
17 years old Vedant Shrivastava :
> Applied for the CBSE re-evaluation process
> Got a different Physics answer sheet
> Posted it on X
> Got labelled "Pakistani" by the BJP IT cell
> Brought CBSE to its knees and proved them wrong
19 years old Nisarga Adhikary :
> Bro hacked the CBSE website
> Reported the vulnerability to them
> But they didn't take any action
> Then bro posted it on X
> Showed everyone that it could be hacked
18 years old Sarthak Sidhant :
> Bro exposed a CBSE tender
> Took it to X
> Wrote a detailed thread
> Explained how the CBSE OSM tender conditions allegedly favoured COEMPT
> And today came on the media
> Exposed them with facts
These three boys are doing what whole media failed to do, all of them took x to expose CBSE .
CBSE two years ago — "We reject the allegation, offline exams rule out website hacking."
CBSE two days ago — " We reject the allegation, offline exams rule out website hacking."
CBSE two minutes ago — "We accept our website can be hacked"
We are ruled by arrogant fools.
A revealing chat with my fellow “anti-national Soros agents.”
Vedant and his friends are brilliant, brave young Indians who asked CBSE and the Modi government simple questions - but got insults instead of answers.
They deserve a bright and secure future. We will make sure they get it.
Outside of twitter bubble, there is not much coverage of CBSE fiasco. Everyone is aware of NEET fiasco (because its cancelled), but not CBSE. Unless you know a +2 student, unlikely you know about CBSE chaos. Media has failed us completely.
Okay, let's settle the debate
A falling INR hurts you:-
1) You travel abroad/want to send kids abroad.
2) You use petrol/diesel or import business.
3) You save in FDs/Indian stocks. Your real buying power erodes globally.
A falling INR helps you:-
1) If you sell stuff to Americans/foreigners.
2) If your jobs pays you in USD.
3) If you are a NRI (you can buy Indian assets cheaper).
It doesn't matter to you:-
1) If you are a freebie loader.
2) Bhakt.
3) Idiot.
We shouldn't be generalising as not all parents are like this, but majority of Indian parents care about what society thinks about them and their family rather than what their own family son/daughter is feeling. I only hope this can change as a new generation of parents come.
