@jerry_tuxedo I thought of you when the lady asked if I would like to send a friend a postcard. There were lots of lovely postcards to choose from but this was my favourite.
Went to an author talk at the library tonight. What an amazing story by #AuntyBrendaMatthews an Aboriginal women taken away from her family at age two and her journey to find them and her culture again. Powerful story - The Last Daughter. The snacks were good too.
Friends who like old railways. Have you ever seen anything like in these photos? It appears to be cast iron and the location on the rail trail says there was a signal here. But minions who know a lot about old trains have not seen anything like it.
@iluvrsmith@TheHugHouse@TeddyTedaloo I travel in the backpack and you have to make sure itโs zipped nice and tight. Once ours wasnโt tight enough and Max fell out. It was the scariest 20mins of my life but someone kindly left him in a fence to find. Now male minion always checks our security before moving off.
@TravelPanda72 I hear you travel panda. My feet are wonky after being inexpertly fixed. This is why I insist on being carried in the backpack at all times.
@TravelPanda72 I can never figure out how to take selfies or access the Internet on the stuff they keep in museums. Youโd think theyโd keep this stuff updated for us.
@jerry_tuxedo Itโs nice in the sun up here in sunny Queensland but chilly out of the sun and in the breeze. Still I would not say no to hot chocolate and raisin toast.
@IzzyZombRat @LolaMennola@BuntyMayflower Yes, an Australian band but Colin Hay still retains his Scottish accent. Saw him in concert late last year. Yes he sung this song and lots of old and new stuff. It was a good night.
Itโs Anzac Day today, this morning my Krew and I made Anzac biscuits and Raspberry and white chocolate muffins. The muffins are because the colour of the berries reminded me of poppies. There are plenty to share, please help yourself. #AnzacDay2023#LestWeForget
@Deadlysecret007 The warm gooey marshmallow, melts the chocolate. But because the choc is only on the one side of each biscuit it means you don't end up with chocolate all over your paws which would be a waste of good chocolate.
@Deadlysecret007 Well actually you don't toast the biscuits. You toast the marshmallow and when its all toasty on the outside and gooey on the inside you put it on top of the chocolate side of the biscuit and put another biscuit on top of the marshmallow (choc side down) & squish them together.
