Still can’t believe nurses accepted a pay rise equivalent to an extra £100 a month. Next month my mortgage and energy bills shoot up - this was not a real term pay rise 😑

The NHS is broken and will continue to be broken under this government - record numbers of nurses leaving the profession and a pay deal that does not even reflect the rate of inflation.

Health and social care secretary Steve Barclay said many NHS workers see the pay deal as a 'fair outcome'.

The pay rise will now be enforced despite nurses voting to reject it.
