@LouisMoresi@anuearthscience@ourANU Well done Louis on a well deserved honour. Couldn’t happen to a nicer person. A celebratory cup of tea is in order.😉
Inspired by watching the Apollo missions on TV, Prof Louis-Noël Moresi FAA (@LouisMoresi) knew—despite their dodgy TV reception—that science was his future. "That did it for me: I just wanted to know all about planets and space and the magic of discovering new things." He now creates open-source software to expand our understanding of geology and tectonics. Using computational physics, he is helping transform the accessibility of quantitative modelling across the Earth sciences. #FellowsAA
