@SteveEwen It should have never gotten to this point. Alternative stadium plans be they temporary, or permanent should have been put into action years ago to mitigate this issue which everyone knew had a likelihood of taking place.
@aftncanada Do we need to consider being critical of Schuster for letting it get to this point? Im curious to know when serious discussions re: a new lease started with Pavco and when alternative planning started. I’m sure he was handcuffed in some ways, but it is crazy we are at this stage
@Youknowit6995 @GlassCityFC Axel is the best thing that has happened to this club. Ownership isn't changing. Axel and Vanni need to operate within this constraint. All things considered, it's been a good 4 years. I attended 4 of last 5 home games. I'm upset, but I have faith this team can achieve something.
@Youknowit6995 @GlassCityFC Seattle will always be able to attract better players than us because there is no state income tax, meaning players will take home more $ if they choose Seattle, among other US clubs. Parity is fake in this league.
Our best lineup included players returning from injury.
@Youknowit6995 @GlassCityFC So you're saying that due to a bad run of form at the end of the season, Vanni should be fired, despite winning championship, achieving playoffs, having good relationship with sporting director and having a good team. I don't know what players you are talking about. Do tell.
@Youknowit6995 @GlassCityFC What are you talking about. This team has been the most entertaining Whitecaps team in the MLS era for the past four seasons and the fans still don't show up. Fans cheered when Vanni got new contract. I'd say the marketing team needs to step up.
