Trump wanted his own VP to refuse to certify the results of a fair election conducted under his administration. Threw him under the bus when he refused.

Think of the irony that Trump now depends on the sitting VP, of an opposing party, to certify the election results of an election where *she* lost to *him*. And she will, without incident.
